Membership

Young Members of DeCordova (YMOD) is DeCordova Museum’s dynamic Membership group for supporters of contemporary art in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. YMOD aims to enhance the experience of the arts by offering its Members social, educational, networking, and philanthropic opportunities year-round. Join as a DeCordova Member and plan to attend YMOD events to meet other vibrant individuals who share a love of art and culture.

Treat yourself to new experiences at DeCordova by participating in YMOD events.

Simply join DeCordova as a Member, then “pay as you go” for YMOD events you choose to attend. Members are welcome to bring friends to YMOD events; friends pay the Non-Member price to attend.

All DeCordova Members receive free admission to the Museum during regular hours along with the exhibition invitations, calendar of events, education brochures, and other announcements. Members are also offered free or discounted admission to lectures, special programs, tours, as well as tuition discounts and priority registration for DeCordova Museum School classes and workshops.

Plus, you will receive invitations to join other YMODs at DeCordova Exhibit Openings

Celebrate DeCordova’s new exhibitions, join in on the excitement of these festive nights with other friends of DeCordova, and meet the artists. Locate a YMOD Committee Member sporting a YMOD pin at the next Opening, and get more details about the group.

Summer Rooftop Party
July 17, 2008 from 6:30 – 9 pm
At this very special party, YMOD Members will watch the sun set from DeCordova's Rappaport Roof Terrace while enjoying specialty cocktails and incredible and creative appetizers, and engaging conversation. Art Walk

Join us as several Newbury Street galleries will open their doors to YMOD Members—showing us the latest contemporary art, and answering all of our questions about collecting artwork.
