Art in the Park 2009: Call for Performers
Sunday, June 14, 2009
10 am – 5 pm
DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park seeks performers for The 24th Annual Art in the Park Festival to be held Sunday, June 10, 2007 in the Sculpture Park. The Festival was created to offer educational and cultural activities to the DeCordova Membership and the public through hands-on art activities, artist exhibits, and performers. A highly participatory afternoon, run by 150 volunteers and staff, the festival engages surrounding communities for support. All proceeds from this event help to fund the educational programs and exhibitions at DeCordova. Expected attendance is 4,000 – 6,000. We accept performer applications throughout the year, so it is never "too early" to submit your application.
The history and nature of the Festival dictates the type of performance that will work best. Below is a list of items required for a successful match between the performer and the Festival. Please do not send information unless all of the requirements can be met.
