Jean Tullius
Jean Tullius has a varied background in music, dance, visual and computer arts, education and social justice all of which inform her work with children, film and animation. For the past five years she has been a faculty member at DeCordova Museum teaching and making films with students and her Apple computer. During the summers, she has worked with Cape Cod Conservatory, Falmouth Community Television, Woods Hole Film Festival and the Falmouth Academy, among others, bringing the art of animation to many students and audiences. As the creator of numerous films, she and her son recently began a production company, Fleiderhosen Productions, specializing in the creation of short original animations, film music, editing techniques and teaching workshops. Tullius’ objective is to integrate art and technology so that students are empowered to create their own artistic vision using media rather than being mere spectators or consumers. She has been an instructor at the DeCordova Museum School since 2004.
